Richard's Famous Best o’ Pesto
Got fresh basil? Love the taste of summer? Whip this up in no time and enjoy!
2 C. loosely packed fresh basil, large stems removed
1/4 C. chopped walnuts
1/2 C. grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
1/2 tsp. Original Richard's Famous Garlic Salt
2 T. lemon juice
1/4 C. extra virgin olive oil
toasted crusty bread rounds, sliced thin
This is a simple recipe! Place first five ingredients in a food processor and process until loosely combined. Then run processor while drizzling olive oil through the lid’s chute and process until a thick creamy paste is formed. Serve on crusty bread, or toss hot cooked pasta with pesto and enjoy.
